Our Passion Project of making our own wine is well underway. We have bottled 5 vintages of wine from 2019- 2023 and have 2024 and 2025vintages in barrel.
Bottling Day!
June 25th, 2021 was a big day… We finally got the Inaugural Vintage, 2019 Sangiovese, in the bottle! Check out this video of the process and the official announcement of the NAME!
A sneak peak of the 2019 Sangiovese
Before bottling, I took a sample of my wine to Dr. Hoby Wedler, who has a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry. In addition being an avid wine drinker, Hoby is blind since birth and remarkably tuned into his surroundings. He uses this elevated sensory awareness to guide people in “tasting in the dark” workshops which allow people to experience the world for a short time without the distraction of eyesight. He was also named by Forbes Media as a leader in food and drink in their 30 under 30 annual publication. Most importantly, he is my friend and I couldn’t wait to hear his impressions on the wine that is just a couple months away from being bottled.
